The Ministry of Food, Agriculture
and Light Industry says this year’s sowing covered 343,300 hectares. Grains
account for 300,900 hectares of this, potato for 14,600, and vegetables for
7,200.

Another 280,000 hectares has been
prepared for next year’s sowing. The weather so far has been good and
agriculture workers hope the harvest will be bountiful.
