Mongolian President Ts.Elbegdorj left for Cuba on an official visit earlier today (14^th September). He is visiting the Caribbean country  from 15^th to 18^th of September  at the invitation of Raul Castro, President of the Council of State of Cuba. In Havana, the Mongolian President will hold talks with his opposite number as well as will lecture at a university about the culture, society and economy of Mongolia. He will also meet Mongolian students studying in Cuba.

Raul Castro visited in Mongolia in 1970, when he was Cuban Defence Minister. From Havana, Mr Elbegdorj will fly to the United States for the meeting of the General Assembly of the UN Assembly.
