The United Arab Emirates
(UAE) has begun constructing a village in Mongolia that will provide houses,
schools and healthcare facilities to Mongolian Muslims, says a report from Abu
Dhabi. The “Village”
is a humanitarian project by the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and
Humanitarian Foundation.
The project in Bayan Ulgii province would cost around $1.3 million. The village
will provide houses, schools, mosques, shopping arcades, healthcare facilities
and other utilities for the Muslim population of the province, which shares borders
with China and Russia.
