Parliamentary Speaker M.Enkhbold has called a non-regular session of the State Great Khural and announced that the first meeting will be tomorrow (26^th August). Therefore, the MPP and DP party groups are meeting at Parliament House.

The non-regular session of Parliament is expected to discuss draft resolutions regarding marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yu.Tsedenbal, a prominent political figure and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Mongolian People's Party. Also on the agenda is the approval of the 2016-2020 governmental action programme. The general government financial report and the 2015 budget performance report will also be studied.

Draft laws such as the 2016 budget framework of the master budget, the law on the 2017-2018 budget assumptions, the law on the 2016 budget, the law on 2016 budgets for the Social Insurance Fund (SIF) and the Human Development Fund (HDF) will be discussed. Parliament will also approve the Paris Agreement within the framework of the United Nation’s Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
