Ts.Bayarsaikhan has been appointed as a Chief of Staff of the Office of the President. He received the seal and office on August 29^th.

P.Tsagaan, the previous Chief of Staff, tendered his resignation on 24^th August in order to run for the office of chairman of the Democratic Party. He had worked as head of the presidential administration since 2009.

Ts.Bayarsaikhan was elected to the State Great Khural (Parliament) in 1996 and again in 2004, and has worked as the head of standing committee on economy, been Minister of Social Welfare and Labour and also Construction and Urban Development.
