The world will be witness a solar eclipse on 1st of September, according to Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics of Mongolia. It will be visible from Madagascar and locations in Central Africa and the United States. The Moon's shadow will also cross parts of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
A partial solar eclipse occurs when the Moon moves in front of the Sun but does not cover it completely. This type of eclipse occurs at least twice every year – sometimes as many as four or five times. The last solar eclipse was visible in Mongolia in 2008 and next one will happen in 2063.
