At a meeting of the Mongolian Cabinet yesterday (3^rd of August), the new staff limits of the Ulaanbaatar city administration was approved. Previously, there used to be six deputy mayors – this had now been reduced to four. Other staff cuts in the administration were made. Because 65% of the population of the capital is under the age of 36, a new youth development department has been established. In total, 45% of the Mongolian population lives in Ulaanbaatar city.
