An MPRP meeting yesterday passed some new rules, in response to an emergency situation caused by a politically unstable situation in the country and efforts to split the MPRP. Members have given party head N.Enkhbayar the sole authority to appoint new secretaries in place of those who have resigned. He is still to do so.

The party will set up a center for training and research.
