Mongolia will import pork from the Russian Republic of Buryatia,. According to sources, the Vostochny-Sibirsky farm has obtained permission from Mongolian officials to import pork into the country. The farm currently has 73 thousand pigs. According to director V.Borovkov, the farm is planning to export 20 tonnes of pork to Mongolia monthly.

Some five to eight Buryat producers also plan to export pork to Mongolia later this month.
