Hollywood actor Richard Gere was spotted at Mongolian State House earlier today (17 November). The 67 year-old star is currently visiting Mongolia for the fourth time. According to one source, he has come to Ulaanabaatar in order to meet Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh.

1993 saw the ‘Pretty Woman’ star banned from presenting the Academy awards, after he used his time on the podium to denounce the Chinese government. Gere is one of the world’s most high-profile activists for Tibetan independence, and is permanently banned from entering China because of his work, and his close association with the Dalai Lama.
