Mr Bakhtier Khakimov, Director-General of the Department for Asia-Pacific Cooperation of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Special Presidential Envoy to the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) has visited Mongolia. During the visit, he met Mongolian Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar, Foreign Ministry Secretary of State of D.Davaasuren and other officials.

Mr Khakimov exchanged views on the situation in the Asia-Pacific region and outlined directions for interaction on a wide range of issues, regarding cooperation with the states of the region.
