The Mongolian Nuclear Energy Committee met earlier today (13 November). During the meeting, some new regulations regarding the radiation measurement safety code were approved.  

Furthermore, the committee agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding with Russia’s state atomic energy corporation Rosatom, to jointly establish a Centre for Nuclear Science and Technology.

Although Mongolia does not run any nuclear power facilities, it has substantial uranium reserves.
