A team of talented young Mongolian mathematicians returned home today, after having performed very well at the International Teenagers Mathematics Olympiad (ITMO), which has taken place in the Philippines.

Held in Davao City, from 8 to 12 of November, children from over 20 countries competed in the ITMO – among them eight Mongolian youngsters. E.Enkhjin from Orkhon province, Ch.Chingun from the Soyombo School, O.Enkhzul and E.Telmuun from ‘Ulemjtenger’ school of Dornogobi province all took bronze medals; the Mongolian students won silver in the team category.

The International Teenagers Mathematics Olympiad is biannual event.
