Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar expressed his satisfaction with current Mongolia-Canada relations and cooperation and underlined the importance of enhancing the bilateral economic relations in the agricultural sector when he met H.E. David William Sproule, Canadian Ambassador to Mongolia.
Minister D.Tsogtbaatar noted that Mongolia has a lot to learn from Canada’s experience in determining and implementing economic and foreign trade policy.
Ambassador Sproule stressed the significance of bi-lateral relations in defence, politics and economics and highly praised Mongolia’s contribution to UN peacekeeping operations. He added that the two countries are maintaining active cooperation within the development assistance programme of the Canadian Government.
