Newly accredited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines Jose Santiago Romana and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Azamat Usenov presented letters of credence to the President of Mongolia, Mr Khaltmaagiin Battulga on Wednesday.
After the ceremony, the President welcomed the heads of diplomatic missions for the traditional one-to-one meetings.
During the meeting with Ambassador of the Philippines Jose Santiago Romana, President Battulga emphasized that he prioritises strengthening long-standing traditional and friendly relations and building mutually-beneficial cooperation in trade, economy, investment and all other viable sectors.
Ambassador Jose Santiago Romana pledged to put efforts in broadening the bilateral relations during his term in the office.
President Battulga said, during his meeting with the Kyrgyz Ambassador, that this year marks the 25th anniversary and noted that through the course of the past years, the two countries’ relations have been prospering thanks to mutual efforts.
The President also expressed interest in promoting cooperation in all possible sectors, particularly, in the economic sphere. The two sides agreed to attach more importance to the preparation of the Meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission of Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, expected in Bishkek next year.
