The Erdenes-Tavan Tolgoi mining company has paid USD 100 million to the Development Bank of Mongolia (DBM) before the set date of payment. The company’s board decided to repay half the USD 200 million debt in advance.

The DBM loan was provided for distributing cash to the public through the Human Development Fund in accordance with a 2012 government resolution.
