Minister for Mineral Resources
and Energy D.Zorigt yesterday told journalists that the meeting of the
Mongolia-Russia intergovernmental commission discussed the fuel shortage in
Mongolia following a reduction in Russian supply. The first wagons carrying
10,000 tons of petroleum are on ther way to Mongolia. Some officials of the
Mineral Resources and Petroleum Authority and representatives of petroleum
importers have gone to Moscow to negotiate on long-term assured supply.

Rosnefti LLC has submitted a
proposal to conduct retail and wholesome business in petroleum in Mongolia. He
also said the Government would submit to Parliament a draft law on petroleum
products, including a proposal to establish a refinery.
