Water sources in the country are identified and counted
every four years, and 801 citizens divided into 48 teams have been engaged in
the work since May 15. The Ministry of
Nature, Environment and Tourism and the Water Board are jointly responsible for
the exercise.
Around 57.8% of the area in all aimags and soums has so far been covered but
progress has been delayed because of fuel shortage and lack of vehicles. The
work is planned to be finished before July 15.
