The Committee to Organize
National Celebrations met on Thursday to discuss 15 issues related to this
year’s Naadam. These included the horse race, preparation of the area,
lighting, parking, and road repairs. Deputy Prime Minister and chief of the
committee M.Enkhbold asked officials to pay attention to security for the
people and the hygienic quality of the food on sale. He wanted all road repair work
to be finished by July 5.
The committee is responsible for arranging this year’s celebrations such as the
national Naadam, the 2,220th anniversary of the Khunnu state, the 805th
anniversary of the Great Mongol State, the
100th anniversary of the National
Freedom Revolution and the 90th anniversary of the People’s Revolution.
