MP Z.Enkhbold has announced the formation of the Democratic Force Union to spread democratic awareness among citizens at the initiative of the DP. The call of the Union will be “Let’s Reform Our Mongolia” and its goal is to protect the rights of every Mongolian citizen.

Enkhbold, who is head of the Standing Committee on Security and Foreign Policy, will be president of the union. It will have as vice presidents MPs N.Batbayar, R.Amarjargal, D.Gankhuyag, D.Odkhuu, G.Bayarsaikhan and S.Erdene. Batbayar will be in charge of the reforms policy, Amarjargal for democracy and justice, Gankhuyag for economic and foreign policy, Erdene for the internal structure of the union, Odkhuu for training and advertisement while Bayarsaikhan will lead the work related to the environment.

Besides MPs, people from civil unions and many other sectors are included in the union. This is because, said Erdene, there is not a single area of public life in Mongolia that does not need reforms. He added, “All sectors, including education, the judiciary, health, politics, and human rights need reform. We will support those willing to work for this.”

Asked how this union will be different from the Left Wing Union, Enkhbold said its scope will be wider.
