Both the Chief of the
Anti Corruption Authority, Ch.Sangaragchaa, and the Deputy Chief, D.Sunduisuren, submitted on June 17 through
their advocates appeals to the State Supreme Court against their conviction.
Their appeal against the original sentence was rejected by the Ulaanbaatar
Court.
Their advocates claim that the primary and appeals court judges misinterpreted
the Criminal Law and did not follow the Law of Criminal Procedure. Both officials
are now in Zaisan transit prison.
D.Sunduisuren has taken Ts. Mongol as his advocate.
