A specialist at the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and
Light Industry, G.Odonkhuu, has said sowing of grain and potato has ended,
while agriculture workers have been advised to finish sowing of vegetables by
June 20, as the weather is likely to worsen after that.
Grain seeds have been sown in 281,200 hectares and potato
in 13,900 hectares. The work was delayed because of shortage and price increase
of diesel. The official felt vegetable prices will rise this year.
