Prime Minister S.Batbold is now
in Hong Kong on the first leg of his official visit to China. Today he formally
opened a Mongolian Consulate there and also a MIAT office. He had discussed the
consulate and direct flights from Ulaanbaatar with the Mayor of Hong Kong
during his visit there in 2010.

Both the consulate and MIAT
office are in the same building in the city center. Ya. Ariunbold has been
appointed the first Consul General. The first MIAT flight to Hong Kong was on
June 2.
