At a ceremony to
accept the letter of credentials of the Singaporean Ambassador, Peter Tan Hai
Chuan-Tai, President Ts.Elbegdorj yesterday said that developing ties of
cooperation with countries of Asia and the Pacific is one of leading objectives
of the foreign policy of Mongolia and the country welcomes this chance to
strengthen relations with Singapore. He hoped for wider relations in trade,
investment in mining, infrastructure and industry, health, education, science,
technology, and improvement in the state service.
The President hoped Singapore will support the Mongolian desire to participate
in the East Asian Summit.
