Party and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI)
yesterday concluded an agreement on sharing economic and business information
and data. The Chief of the CW-GP, D.Enkhbat, and MNCCI Chairman S.Demberel both
expressed the hope that the cooperation would spread to other areas also.
The MNCCI will represent the views and feelings of the private sector regarding
draft laws and proposals before Parliament, submit research data and analytical
reports, and organize meetings and discussions among MPs and businessmen. The
CW-GP will forward to the MNCCI business related items on the agenda of
Parliament, and ask it to seek the views of its members on these. It will also expect
the MNCCI to regularly organize meetings, discussions and seminars to keep
business persons in touch with politicians.
The agreement also seeks open discussions on SMEs and their problems between
MPs and representatives of the private sector, and to cooperate on reduce
greenhouse gas emission by 20% and to increase investment on environment
protection projects by 20%.
