B.Gangaamaa became thefirst Mongolian woman to climb Mt. Everest when she reached the summit on May
21, according to reports received by the Mongolian Expeditions LLC, which sponsored
the expedition led by G.Usukhbayar who had climbed the world’s highest peak in
2007. Gangaamaa took the route from Tibet. It took her three hours to make the
final ascent.
