The Chief of the Human Rights National Commission (HRNC),
J.Byambadorj, and one of its members, J.Dashdorj, left on Monday for Geneva, to
attend the three-day 24th Annual Meeting of the International Coordinating
Committee of national human rights organizations, beginning on May 17.
The ICC grants “A”, “B” or “C” status to countries according
to certain criteria. Mongolia received the
“A” status in 2003 and 2008. The present meeting will hear the annual report of
all participating organizations.
