Members of Gal Undesten Union and United Movements for
Rivers and Lakes demonstrated with 50 horsemen in Sukhbaatar Square on Friday
and delivered an urgent note to President Ts.Elbegdorj and 76 MPs. Today is the
deadline they set for receiving a reply.

Head of the Ongi River Movement Ts.Munkhbayar told our journalist that their
earlier demand delivered to Parliament and the Government for the dissolution
of both had not been answered. That is why this second note was sent with a
deadline for the reply. They also demanded the release from jail of Deputy Head
of Gal Undesten Union N.Davaa, a member of the Representatives Managing Council
of the erstwhile Anod Bank, as “the case against him is basically political”.

Munkhbayar said the movements hoped President Elbegdorj would act on their
demand, and warned that they were ready to continue their protest. Any loss or
damage from the protest would be the President’s responsibility if he failed to
act in time.
