South Korean Prime Minister Kim Hwan-sik recently received a team of visiting MPP leaders headed by Secretary General U.Khurelsukh in his official residence. The team’s other members were MPs D.Ochirbat, D.Zagdjav and B.Bat-Erdene, and the party Secretary, Ya.Sodbaatar.  Mongolian Ambassador D.Gerel, and an official of the Embassy, G.Tenger, also attended the meeting.

The Prime Minister recalled the successful visit to Korea in March by Prime Minister S.Batbold, who is also Chief of the MPP. He wished the visitors a pleasant and fruitful time in his country.

Khurelsukh thanked him and passed on greetings to him from Batbold to him. He noted that cooperation between the MPP and the Khannara party of Korea was yielding results, and hoped  an amicable resolution of issues like visas for Mongolians, their health and social insurance cover in Korea and the future of children of Mongolian-Korean marriages will soon be possible.

The MPP team had earlier met with Mongolians in South Korea and heard their problems.
