The General Taxation Office, the Union of Accredited Tax Accountants and the Taxpayers’ Association today decided to extend for two years a trilateral agreement that has been in force since 2009. The agreement helps spread information on tax laws among taxpayers, helps them determine their tax liabilities, encourages payment of tax, and protects taxpayers’ rights.

After a review of the progress under the agreement in the past two years, it was decided to arrange for improving the professional qualification of tax inspectors and to train them in the latest methods of financial accounting.
