The recent World Masters judo tournament in South Korea ended with one gold medal for Mongolia and two wrestlers placed fifth. The team was ranked sixth out of 33 countries. There were seven weight categories, for both men and women. Each category allowed the 16 highest ranking judokas in the world to participate.
S.Miyaragchaa (66 kg) won the gold. His higher ranked team mate Kh.Tsagaanbaatar (66 kg) was placed fifth and so was Ts.Mukhzaya (63 kg). The others in the Mongolian contingent were G.Bolbaatar (60 kg), B.Temuulen (100 kg), and M.Bundmaa (52 kg). Ch.Nasantogtokh and Boldbaatar were the two coaches.
The Japanese team got the first place followed by South Korea and France.
