UNICEF Permanent Representative Rana Flowers on Wednesday visited a center to socialize and educate street children that has been working since 1998 with support from the Mayor’s Office. The center is home to 118 children who attend nearby schools. Over the years, some children have gone back to their families, but many who came in 1998 are now adult and Mayor Munkhbayar wants a new center for those between 18 and 24 where they could stay as they attend some vocational training course.
