Prime Minister S.Batbold, Minister for Health S.Lambaa, officials of the
Ulaanbaatar Mayor’s Office and managing officials and workers of
Niislel Urguu and Puma construction companies yesterday attended the
foundation stone laying ceremony of a new maternity and children’s hospital with 300 beds at Yarmag in Khan-Uul district. In his address on the occasion, Batbold reiterated the Government’s commitment to providing better health care, especially to women and children. He revealed that work has begun on maternity hospitals with 50 beds in ten aimags, and hoped the two companies responsible for the present hospital would finish their work in the planned time and the construction would be of high quality.

The hospital is expected to be ready in April, 2012 and will cost MNT19
