Former Prime Minister, MP S.Bayar, met with the Governor-Premier of Irkutsk province Dmitrii Mezentsev on Sunday. A former Russian Ambassador to Mongolia, Boris Govorin attended the meeting. Among the subjects discussed was cooperation between areas along the Angara River and Mongolia. The Mission of Irkutsk province in Mongolia will work to increase trade between the two countries.

Bayar wanted Irkutsk to cooperate in agriculture and to train more Mongolians in veterinary sciences. Talks will be continued when he takes part in an economic forum of Baikal in September. This forum will discuss coordination in tourism in Mongolia, Irkutsk province and China.
