The second meeting of the Mongolia-India joint bureau which works for cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, trade, science and culture was held on January 11 in Delhi. The bureau was set up during the visit of President Ts. Elbegdorj to India last year.

The present meeting discussed in some detail ways to intensify cooperation in mineral, energy, IT, agriculture and defense sectors, as also conditions of projects India has promised to implement, including construction of a joint secondary school building, and the celebration of the 55^th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The two teams at the meeting were led by the Mongolian Minister for Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of India, Ms. Preneet Kaur.
