The Standing Committee on the Economy yesterday reviewed a performance report from the National Statistics Committee on implementation of a program to improve collection and analysis of data between 2006 and 2010. Seven objectives and 288 items on the program have been implemented at a cost of MNT10.4 billion.
The committee asked the NSC to prepare a similar program to be implemented between 2011 and 2015, and then submit it to Parliament for approval. This should include analysis of census data, and proposals to reach new areas of consumer behavior and interest.
