The Confederation of Trade Unions (CTU) held a press conference yesterday to warn people that the rise in electricity and heating costs from May 1 was very likely to lead to an increase in the price of most consumer goods. If the price of milk, bread and flour did increase more than what the Energy Regulatory Authority has estimated, the CTU would fight to have the rate increase canceled.
The Vice President of CTU, Kh.Amgalanbaatar, the Chief of Workers Trade Union, N.Altantsetseg, and the Chief of the State Officials Trade Union, B.Batbileg addressed the press conference.
