Altogether 39 organizations working for nature protection in Altai, Buyant, Durgun, Zereg, Mankhan, Munkhkhairkhan, Must, Myangad, Tsetseg and Chandmani soums of Khovd aimag last week decided to form an alliance for improved performance. The alliance will work for more local citizens’ participation in environmental protection activities, including proper exploitation of natural resources.

It will also expand areas of cooperation with state organizations and NGOs to spread ecological awareness, and to create conditions where man and nature lived in harmony and both thrived.
