The draft laws on health, employment support and election were the three main issues discussed by the MPP group in Parliament in its meeting yesterday. Members wanted the draft law on health to be related to the law on health insurance. They also supported the demand of civil organizations to be part of the proposed National Council, on the ground that they will represent the interests of health insurance payers. The MPs urged civil and the state organizations to decide on the structure of the Council.

Members demanded improved monitoring of how the employment support fund is used. The group also decided to forward to the Standing Committee on State Structure all the 200 suggestions received by the working group on the draft law on election, with a request that every one of them should be carefully considered.
