Today’s regular meeting of the DP group in Parliament continued with its review of the progress of the Government program between 2008 and 2012 and of the basic trends in economic and social development. It established a 10-member working group with Z.Enkhbold as head to estimate the Government’s work this week.
The majority of members favored further discussion of a draft law on information transparency and right to information that seeks to empower citizens to demand information from all organizations under the Government. Deputy Chief of the group L.Gantumur asked members to prepare suggestions on a draft law that would make it mandatory to provide official information on the Internet within a definite time period.
The members also approved further discussion on draft laws on buying goods and service from funds in the state budget.
