A Mongolian team led by the Advisor of the Minister for Defense, Ts.Ganbold, recently paid a working visit to Poland on an invitation from the Ministry of Defense there. The two sides held extensive talks and decided that an inter governmental agreement would be signed in the near future.
Both countries have contributed troops to UN peace keeping operations and to NATO’s ISAF. The team visited the National University of Defense, the training center for peace keeping troops and other institutions of related interest. It invited Polish Minister of Defense Bogdan Klih to attend the 100th anniversary celebrations of the Mongolian Defense Ministry.
