Deputy Speaker N.Enkhbold yesterday received a parliamentary delegation from Kirgizstan headed by the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Bakit Torobaev. He said both
countries had the same social and economic system before 1990 and now that both are democracies and have a market economy, the old relationship of cooperation should flourish.

Torobaev said following the adoption of a new Constitution in 2010, Kirgizstan now has a parliament with 120 members elected through a proportional representation system.
