Mongolia and China have signed an agreement to use a grant of CNY 40 million to set up a rehabilitation-and-relaxation center for Mongolian troops who return from UN peacekeeping operations. Ts.Sukhbaatar, Ambassador of Mongolia to China, and Maj-Gen Jia Xiaoning, deputy director for foreign affairs of the Chinese Defense Ministry, also agreed to name the center after the two countries. The center is expected to be ready for use in September, when the Defense Ministry of Mongolia celebrates its 100th anniversary.
At the signing ceremony in Beijing, both the Ambassador and General Jia expressed satisfaction at this gesture of military cooperation.
