After today’s meeting of the DP group in Parliament, its Deputy Chief, L.Gantumur, told journalists the MPs had discussed socio-economic trends and the progress of implementation of the Government program between 2008 and 2012. Prime Minister S.Batbold was to have reported on the implementation but he could not attend the meeting because of another engagement.
The members discussed a draft law on crime submitted by Ts.Sedvanchig and other MPs and approved its further discussion. They decided to overturn their previous decision not to proceed with a draft law on water supply to human settlements and disinfecting methods. They also approved a draft law on Parliament procedures.
