An NGO called Union Members and Supporters (UMS) of the Democratic Party has demanded the Prime Minister’s immediate resignation for his “failure to protect the interests of ger district residents”. It says the Prime Minister has not responded to several notes asking him to give the legal right to all ger district households to own a two-room apartment to be built with money from mining revenue. This is in accordance with a provision of the Constitution, which gives citizens the right to live in safe and healthy surroundings.
