Deputy Minister for Finance Ch.Gankhuyag chaired a meeting of a project to improve economic capacity that was also attended by the Deputy Ministers for Health, for Education, Culture and Science, and for Social Welfare and Labor. They discussed the results of the project so far and further measures.

The Ministry of Finance has been implementing the project since 2004 with funding from the International Development Association. Its goal is to encourage economic profitability and stability, to support use of technology, to improve management of budget expenses and to provide macro economic stability.

The project has prepared a handbook for internal audit in the Government and experimental software BPIS. Its future plan is to focus on improving human resource management and the salary management system.
