Deputy Speaker G.Batkhuu yesterday received the recently appointed Chinese Ambassador to Mongolia, Wang Xiaolong, to discuss bilateral relations. The Ambassador said he would work for strengthening relations based on mutual respect and understanding. 

Batkhuu, who also heads the China-Mongolia parliamentary group, expressed happiness at the state of bilateral cooperation based on good neighborliness. In essence, the strategic partnership between Mongolia and China depended on mutual trust and benefit, and respect for each other’s independence. It would take economic cooperation to a new level, helping improve citizens’ life. He said the importance Mongolia gives to partnership with China is shown by the fact that the China-Mongolia parliamentary group has the most members among such groups.
