A snag has hit plans to begin road repair work on April 22.  Companies that will do the work at a cost of MNT67 billion are reported to have no stock of the kind of stone required for it. The General Agency for Specialized Inspection insists on use of stones of a certain specification for road repair and strictly forbids use of rocks and stones from mountains.
The companies are believed to have set their eyes on small stones from the Tuul River but the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy may not allow this on environmental grounds
