A memorandum of understanding is likely to be signed soon on sending 100 Mongolian nurses to Nanyang Technical University in Singapore this year for training.  After receiving the proposal from the Ministry of Health some time ago, two officials from Singapore came to Ulaanbaatar to study conditions here and to discuss matters with Deputy Minister for Health J.Tsolmon. The Director of Foreign Cooperation at the university, Ts. Fung, and Jerald Yu, a representative of Temasek Foundation, which helps arrange training in Singapore, visited the National Center for Cancer Research, State clinics and some district hospitals.
