Altogether 16 rescue workers from the National Emergency General Board (NEGB), the Ulaanbaatar Rescue Office, the Emergency Department of Baganuur and Nalaikh districts and of Khuvsgul, Bulgan, Selenge and Dornod aimags were today awarded international certificates in one star category. They had attended a training course in deep diving in the icy water of Khuvsgul Lake in December, 2010.

Their instructor was A.B.Kupchinskii from the Lake Study Institute of Siberia Branch of the Science Academy of Russia and the project was planned and funded by the UN Development Program in Mongolia.
